Albert Kassir , 87, resident of Somerford Assisted Living died Thursday April 1, 2010 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Bernice Dugan Kassir who preceded him in death.
Born October 23, 1922 he was theson of the late Noria and Andria Kassir of Mosul Iraq.
Albert will be remembered by family and friends for his green thumb and love of cooking. He was a resident of Mesa, Arizona after retirement and enjoyed caring for his yard and his fruit trees.
Surviving are his daughter Sharan Bosio and husband John grandchildren Alicia, Philip Bosio and Shelly Loprez , Step daughter Kathleen Michelotti and husband Leo and 4 grandchildren Paul, Nicole, Matthew and Julianne Michelotti, Stepdaughter Barbara Ovenshire and husband Daniel and 5 grandchildren Catherine , Daniel, Heather, David Ovenshire and Elizabeth Tillman and great granddaughter Emma Tillman.
He is also survived by his brother Matti Kassir and wife Lillian and family of Baltimore Maryland and brother Thabit Kassir and sister Alia Kassir living in Iraq.
Visitation: The family will receive vistors at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opposumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday evening April 4, 2010 from 7-9pm.
Services: There will be a service held at the funeral home on Monday April 5, 2010 at 10 am officated by Pastor Paul Black of Cornerstone Fellowship Church.
