Mr. Alan Wilson Prince, 74, of Woodbine, Maryland, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016, at his residence. He was the husband of Connie I. Prince, his wife of 5 years.
Born on March 19, 1942, in Boston, MA he was the son of Roy W. Prince and Mary Palmer (Wilson) Prince.
He was a graduate of Easton High School in Pennsylvania.
Alan was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War.
He was a music producer operating his own music studio Glens Falls, NY.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children: Michael Prince of North Creek, NY and Patricia Heffernan and husband David of Ballston Spa, NY; three grandchildren: Tyler Briscoe, Cody Briscoe and Brad Heffernan; step-children: Kimberly Simmons and husband Mahlon of Libertytown, Clinton Mooney of Rockville, Bryce Mooney of Randallstown, Marie Shifflett and husband Michael; step-grandchildren: Mahlon Simmons, Marissa Simmons, Jordan Christain, Mason Shifflett, Bentley Shifflett, Brooklyn Shifflett.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, July 13, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville, Mt. Airy and from 10-11 AM on Thursday, July 14, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7255 Ridge Road, Mount Airy, MD.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 14, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7255 Ridge Road, Mount Airy.erment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville, MD.
