Aidan Tremaine

Aidan Gardner Tremaine, 23 of Thurmont died suddenly on November 2, 2015 at FMH surrounded by his immediate and loving family. Born December 15, 1991 Aidan was the youngest son of Susan G. Tremaine and the late Hadley P. Tremaine.

After graduating Catoctin High School in 2010, Aidan took courses at FCC.  At the time of his death Aidan worked full-time as a Facilitator in the Pathways Program at Way Station Inc. He hoped to pursue an undergraduate degree in History and certify in Secondary Education to teach Social Studies.

Aidan was both a NE Patriots fan and a Boston Bruins fan. He always knew what the penalty was for in football after a play as well as where the puck was in a hockey game.  He knew both players’ and coaches’ career histories. Family and friends alike will miss watching games with him.

A music lover, Aidan enjoyed going to concerts and band shows especially in support of his friends’ band.  Car trips were another favorite, especially when a large body of water was the destination, namely Lake George and Ocean City.

Preceded in death by his father Hadley, Aidan is survived by his mother Susan, siblings Owen, Conor, and Ainslee, his Grandmother Ann Gambrill of Frederick, his Uncle Rus Gambrill and wife Aunt Debbie of California, Uncle Pete Gambrill of Middletown, and multiple generations of cousins and extended family.

Besides family, many friends too numerous to name will remember Aidan. He had a way.

A memorial service celebrating Aidan’s life will be held on Friday, November 20th at 2:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. The family will be present to receive friends after the memorial service.
