Agnes Wine Sandridge of Frederick, Maryland died on March 7, 2017. She was 98 and had resided most of her adult life in Crozet, Virginia. In 2006, she moved to Frederick to live with family.
Mrs. Sandridge was born July 13, 1918 in Mt. Sidney, Virginia to her parents, James and Pearl Wine. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Arey and brother, J. Marion Wine and his wife, Jo.
While working at DuPont, she was married to Homer Sandridge who preceded her in death in 2004 after their 68 year marriage. Mrs. Sandridge was a school cafeteria manager, a homemaker known for her sewing, baking and quilting skills and a long-time active member of Crozet United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Homer Sandridge, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Sherry of Arnold, Maryland and daughter, Linda Stone of Frederick, Maryland. Other survivors are grandchildren, Jason (Kristin) and Gray (Aileen) Sandridge and Sara Stone; and great-grandchildren, Violet, Thea, Jillian and Benjamin Sandridge.
A private interment will be at a later date at Rockgate Cemetery, Crozet, Va.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Stauffer Crematory, Inc. and Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at www.staufferfuneralhome.com.
