Mrs. Agnes Marie Heims, 100, longtime Thurmont resident, died at her home on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 with her daughter, Rachel, by her side. She was predeceased by her late husband, Charles E. Heims, Jr. in 2001.
Born September 9, 1914 in Thurmont, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Edna Devilbiss.
Agnes retired as a time worker for Claire Frock. She enjoyed baking and attending activities with the Thurmont Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachel See; sons, Charles J. Heims of Rocky Ridge, and Richard Eugene Heims of Thurmont; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Graveside services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
