Mrs. Agnes Harman, 94, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Harman.
Born January 6, 1919 in Thurmont, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Florence Layman Martin.
Mrs. Harman was a member of Harriett Chapel in Thurmont. She enjoyed different types of needlework and gardening.
Agnes is survived by her sisters Gladys Martin of Thurmont and MaryEllen Smith of Frederick. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers James, Franklin and Harry Martin, Jr.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont, Maryland on Sunday, January 20, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where services will be held Monday, January 21, at 11:00 am with The Rev. Jessica Knowles officiating.
Interment Mt. Prospect Church Cemetery.
