Abram Goldsworthy

Mr. Abram Craig Goldsworthy, 62, of Point of Rocks, MD, went home to be with Jesus Palm Sunday, March 24, 2013, at his home.
Craig was surrounded by his loving family when his LORD and Good Shepherd opened the “narrow gate” and said, “Welcome home, good and faithful servant.”
He was born June 20, 1950, in Keyser, WV, to the late Abram Thomas and Mary Frances (Cunningham) Goldsworthy.
He was a 1968 graduate of Keyser High School and a 1970 and 1972 graduate of Potomac State College and West Virginia University, respectively. He worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from 1972-2011, retiring as a Unit Chief after 38 years of dedicated service.
Craig is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Rosemarie (Gonzalez) Goldsworthy, Point of Rocks, who also retired from the FBI in 2011 after 33 years of service as an IT Specialist, and their three Yorkshire Terriers, Dominique, Amos and Lady.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, James E. and C. Margaret (Brown) Goldsworthy and Samuel and Elizabeth (Babb) Cunningham; his uncle and aunt, James W. and Ruth (Jackson) Goldsworthy; and aunt, Penninah (Goldsworthy) Broughton.
Other survivors include three sons, Kyle Matthew, Phoenix, AZ; Scott Thomas, and Charles Andrew, Rockville, MD.; one sister Cynthia A. Goldsworthy, Williamstown, WV; three cousins, James N. Goldsworthy, Keyser, WV, Kerry J. Cerrato of Plymouth Meeting, PA; and Barbara C. Williams, Merrimack, NH; father and mother-in-law, Alfred A. and Barbara J. Gonzalez, Waldorf, MD.; sister-in-law Cynthia (Gonzalez) Jackson and the late Charles E. Jackson, Waldorf, MD.; niece, Michelle M. Jackson; brother-in-law Michael A. and Sue Gonzalez, Sr., North Beach, MD; nephew Michael A. and Stephanie Gonzalez, Jr.; great-nephew Michael III, and great-nieces Courtney and Ava Gonzalez.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Monday, April 1, 2013, by Father Lawrence K. Frazier at St. Anthony’s Shrine, 16300 Old Emmitsburg Rd, Emmitsburg, MD.
