On June 19, 1988, our family was blessed with an amazing gift, Abijah James Wilder, III. He had one of the softest souls ever known. The love he had for his mother and family always amazed us. On Thursday, March 24, 2016, Heaven was blessed when God decided he needed him more than we did. Rest in peace, James...we love you!
He was the loving son of Cindy Frazier Norwood of Jefferson and Abijah James Wilder, Jr. of Frederick.
James loved playing guitar with his Dad and Grandpa and enjoyed writing music. He had a big heart, a large personality and loved everyone. He enjoyed celebrating holidays and family gatherings.
James was loved by all and will be missed by many.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-father, Henry; step-mother, Wanda; a sister, Melissa Wilder and husband, Joseph Moreland, Jr.; three brothers, Joey and Matthew Norwood, and Otto Luedtke; grandparents, Marcia and Charles Frazier, and Ruth Wilder; a nephew, Joseph Moreland, III; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. James will be remembered by his girlfriend, Sasha Villasenor, of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Abijah James Wilder, Sr.
