Terry Newman

Terry Adrian Newman, 67, of Frederick, passed away on July 6 at his home after a brief illness.  Born on March 21, 1951, he was a son of the late George Edward and Pearl Savannah (Fisher) Newman.

Terry attended Frederick High School and went on to be self employed as a painter and handyman.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman and thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors.  Terry was also a talented musician and guitar player.

He leaves behind his two daughters, Tara D. Diggs and Keyanna K. Newman; two grandsons, Trayvon Weedon and Ryan R. Newman; two great-grandsons, Kamari and Nehemiah Weedon; his sister, Linda B. Newman; his brother, George Newman Jr.; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins as well as plenty of friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Newman.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 16 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick.  Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery at a later date.
