Roger Hoffman

Mr. Roger C. Hoffman, 74, of Silver Spring, Maryland (formerly of Thurmont) passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Casey Hospice House. He was the husband of the late Margaret A. Hoffman.
Born May 12, 1940 in Washington, D. C., he was the son of the late Robert E. and Esther Corbett Hoffman.
Mr. Hoffman was a salesman for most of his life working for several different companies. Roger loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by two sons Robert Hoffman of Ellicott City, and Evan Hoffman and wife Meghan Murphy of Baltimore, grandchildren Kyle Hoffman, Kaleigh Hoffman and Dylan Hoffman and his companion Hinda Smith and her family. He will also be remembered by Kate Stottlemyer, Justin and John Paul Kadoura. He was preceded in death by a brother Joel Hoffman and his wife Jacqueline.
A graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Cemetery, 101 N. Altamont Ave., Thurmont on Monday, June 23, at 11:00 am with interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Casey Hospice House, 6001 Muncaster Mill road, Rockville, MD.
