Robert {Bobbie} L. Grams

Robert Bobbie L. Grams, Sr. 79 of Brunswick, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Betty Grams who passed away in 2003.

Born November 16, 1927 in Frederick he was the son of the late Leroy and Daisy Grams.

Mr. Grams was a member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Brunswick.

He retired from the B&O Railroad as a brakeman. He was a member of the B&O Veterans and a member of the United Transportation Union.

He enjoyed gardening, horse racing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by a son, Robert Grams Jr. and wife Gale of Knoxville, MD, a granddaughter, Jennifer Grams and friend Mike Sorrell both of Knoxville, a grandson, Rick Grams and wife Brooke of Baltimore, a great granddaughter, Kennedy Erin Grams of Baltimore, a sister, Frances Harmon, two brothers, Leroy Grams and wife Shirley and Donnie Grams and wife Joyce.

He will also be remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews and all of his friends and the workers at Heartfields.

Visitation: The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick on Sunday, September 30, 2007 from 12:00-8:00 PM.

Services: Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 11:00AM with Rev. Victoria Starnes and Rev. Noni Sigler officiating.

Pallbearers will be Floyd Goetz, Leroy Grams, Mousie Hickman, Mike Sorrell, Rick Grams, Joe Gordon and Donnie Grams. Honorary pallbearer will be Stuffy Rooney.

Interment will be in Brownsville Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
