Patrick J. O’Sullivan, 50 of Frederick, Maryland passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at his home.
Born April 9, 1961 in Washington, DC he was the son of Frances “Elaine” O’Sullivan of Gaithersburg and the late Patrick J. O’Sullivan.
Pat was a member of St. Joseph on Carrollton Manor Catholic Church, Buckeystown, MD.
He graduated from Georgetown Prep in 1979. Pat attended American University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Bonaventure University in New York.
He was very active in the Boy Scouts of America. Pat was an Assistant Scout Master for Troop 274 and Cubmaster and founding member of Cub Scout Pack 1811 at St. Joseph’s at Carrollton Manor.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR and an avid sports fan.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his three children, Patrick J. O’Sullivan, Erin C. O’Sullivan, Sean M. O’Sullivan, their mother, Jennifer O’Sullivan, his sister, Kathleen Hurley and husband Bill of Gaithersburg, nieces, Bridget and Katherine Hurley and nephew, William “Liam” Hurley.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday, January 16th from 6:00-9:00PM.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph on Carrollton Manor, 5843 Manor Woods Rd. on Tuesday, January 17th at 10:00AM with Rev. Lawrence K. Frazier officiating.
Interment will be private.
