Michael G. Brennan, 79, of Bluffton, South Carolina, passed peacefully from this life on Monday, April 22, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.
Born on November 25, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois. He is preceded in death by his younger brother, Patrick John Brennan.
He honorably served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Calvert. He worked as a civilian in the Human Resources Department of the United States Navy. He retired from the Navy CCPO in Crystal City, Virginia in 1992.
He enjoyed reading, golfing, sports, especially the Washington Redskins and the Chicago Cubs; but most of all he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Jodi Wells and husband, Russell and Tina Marcinkus and husband, Fabijus; his twin grandchildren, Emma and Anthony Marcinkus; nephew, John Brennan and wife, Sarah; niece, Martha Literal and husband, Randy. He is also survived by dear friends in Sun City, Hilton Head, South Carolina.
A Celebration Mass of Michael's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at St. Michael Catholic Church at Poplar Springs, 1125 St. Michael's Road in Mount Airy, MD. Father Michael Ruane will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at St. Michael's Catholic Church Cemetery.
