Marjorie Koch

Marjorie Lynne Koch, 72, of Frederick, MD passed away Saturday May 27, 2017 at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born on February 27, 1945 in East Liverpool, OH she was the daughter of the late John (Jake) Candler Hughey, Jr and Mary Rebecca (Myers) Hughey.
She is survived by her son Jonathan Koch (wife Kelly) and two grandchildren Taylor and Mason.  As well as, her sister Rosa McKinney (husband George) and 4 nieces and nephews James, Kathy, Wendy and Scott.
Marjorie was a proud native of East Liverpool, OH. She was a Wittenburg University graduate and loved sharing stories and heritage of her home town. She was retired from a career with the federal government as a Systems Analyst for the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, MD but soon after found herself back in school at Hood College in Frederick, MD where she earned her Masters Degree in Psychology. She had a passion for working with the special needs children at FCPS, but most of all, loved spending time with her family and grandkids.  She touched a lot of lives and she will be truly missed by many.
Services will be held at River View Cemetery 2026 St. Clair Avenue East Liverpool, Ohio 43920 on Monday, June12, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
