Mrs. Linda Sharon Morgan, 68, of Monrovia died Friday, April 22, 2016 at Frederick Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was the wife of the late Clarence Morgan, Jr.
Born August 16, 1947 in Frostburg, Maryland, she was the daughter of Eleanor (Warnick) Muir of Monrovia and the late Robert Muir.
Linda was a graduate of Gaithersburg High School. She retired from the federal government following a 30 year career as a computer analyst.
She loved animals, especially her dog KiKi. Linda enjoyed collecting knick knacks and held a special fondness for tiger figurines. Above all else, Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by four children, Timmy and Kevin Morgan, Tammy West and Krissy Morgan; six grandchildren, Victoria and Casey Morgan, Samantha and Taylor Morgan, and Cody and Jackson Morgan; a brother, Robert "Big Bobby" Muir; a sister, Pamela Cook; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick with a memorial service to begin at 3 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Tim May.
