Larry Poole

Larry Edward Poole, 58, of Union Bridge, MD passed away unexpectantly Friday, May 13, 2016 at his home.
Born February 2, 1958 in Frederick, MD he was the son of Doris Mae Rice Poole of Union Bridge and the late Harry A. Poole, Sr.
Larry was a graduate of Linganore High School. After high school he entered the masonry trade with his brothers and father. He later owned and operated his masonry company, Poole Construction. Larry enjoyed spending time with his sons Luke and Douglas. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, and Richard Petty Motor Sports teams and was an avid Redskins fan. His family will miss his kind spirit, easy smile, and helpful ways.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his two children Luke Poole and Douglas Poole; siblings Harry, Dennis (Kathy), Kathy Baker (Jerry), Michael (Linda), James (Mandy), David (Laurie), Teresa Wells (Darwin), Maureen LeGore (John), John (Elizabeth) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Luke and Douglas will greatly miss their long conversations and rides with Larry.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents George and Ada Poole, and maternal grandparents Eli and Ruth Rice.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 6-8PM where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at 10AM.
Interment will be private.
