John Zittle
January 23, 1930 — February 24, 2016
Mr. John William Zittle, 86, of Damascus, MD died on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Mt. Airy, where he was a resident. He was the husband of Virginia N. Kinna-Zittle of Damascus, his wife of four years.
Born on January 23, 1930 in Middletown, MD, he was the son of the late George H. and Maimie Ahold Zittle.
John served in the US Army and was a truck driver in Maryland. His last position was at Paramount Feed and Supply in 2011. In his later years, John attended Damascus Road Community Church in Mount Airy MD.
Surviving in addition to is wife are two daughters and his half brother, Richard.
Graveside services and interment will take place on Wednesday, March 2, at Rest Haven Cemetery, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD.
