Janice Eileen Lightner Phillips, 66, of Lovettsville, VA, died December 23, 2015 at Inova Loudoun Hospital - Cornwall Campus in Leesburg, Va. She was the loving wife of Richard Albert Phillips.
Born February 25, 1949 in Huntingdon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Cloyd L. and Frances J. Myers Lightner.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Lovettsville.
In addition to her husband, Janice is survived by daughter, Tane Phillips McPeak and husband, Michael L., of Lovettsville, and son, Robert Lynn Phillips and wife, Cherie S., of Hagerstown, MD; grandchildren, Kristopher L. McPeak and wife, Kelynn, of Lovettsvile, Corrie McPeak Stiller and husband, Timothy G., of White Post, VA, Alexa Rae Phillips and Samantha Nicole Phillips both of Hagerstown; sister, Bonnie Lightner Bartosz and husband, Lewis Robert (Bob) of Ellicott City, MD and brother, Anthony Andrew (Tony) Lightner and wife, Patricia, of Rockville, MD; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Bartosz, Robert Bartosz and wife, Tara, Douglas Lightner and wife, Dana, Jeffrey Lightner and wife, Vicki and Gregory Marian and wife, Amanda, and Alan Marian, Jr. and wife, Mary.
She was preceded in death by sister, Deborah Lightner.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Avenue, Brunswick, MD.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 30th at the funeral home with Pastor Andreas Armstrong officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date. The family wishes to invite you to join them for food and fellowship at the Lovettsville Game Club, Lovettsville, VA following the service.
