Helen Minnick

Lifelong Brunswick resident Helen Virginia Foreback Minnick, age 96, died peacefully at home with her family on Thursday, August 11, 2016. Born September 15, 1919 to mother Adlai S. Willis Foreback and father William Henry Foreback.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert D. Minnick; son, Charles Wayne Minnick; two grandsons, James Huffman and Donald Minnick; brothers, Howard, Donald, Robert, Charles Foreback and sister, Anna Dawson. She is survived by one daughter, Cookie Huffman of Brunswick, MD; three sons, Robert Minnick and wife Darlene of Knoxville, MD, Donald Minnick and wife Virginia of Brunswick, MD and Bill Minnick and wife Lynne of Rosemont, MD; 8 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A wonderful mother, grandmother and friend who lived a Christian life and always had a kind word for all. As a stay at home housewife, her greatest joy in life was visitations with her family and friends, especially the daily 11 am coffee breaks.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Avenue, Brunswick, MD on Monday, August 15 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm and where funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 3 pm. Interment Park Heights Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Frederick County, PO Box 1799, Frederick, MD 21702.
