Mr. Harry Eugene Ward, 77, of Adamstown, died unexpectedly Thursday, February 26, 2015 at his home. He was the loving husband of Virginia Ward.

Born July 10, 1937 in Jay, New York, he was the son of the late Harry G. and Marguerite Ward.

Harry was a mechanic for many years. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He worked for different horse farms in the area doing maintenance and lawn care. In younger years, Harry and Virginia were members of the Retreads Motorcycle Club. They enjoyed many fun times and trips with the group.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Patricia A. Ward, Eric L. Ward, and Scott A. Ward; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Skip Ward, George Ward and Louise Nolan.

He was predeceased by his parents; his grandfather, Eugene Davis; and a great-granddaughter, Harper Grace Taylor.

Services will be private for the family.
