Emma Eudora Hendrickson Ambrose, 92, of Frederick died unexpectedly Friday, April 7, 2017 at Somerford House. She was the loving companion of Charlie Baugher.
Born January 7, 1925 in Keymar, she was the daughter of the late George and Helen Hendrickson.
She attended Frederick High School and worked at Price Electric, Fairchild Aircraft in Hagerstown, Frederick Electronics, and the Red Horse Restaurant. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Emma is survived by two children, daughter, Bonnie "Kinze" Levy and husband, Bernie, of Frederick; and son, Mike "Rocky" Ambrose and wife, Tammy, of Jefferson; three grandchildren, Bryon Willard, Colby Ambrose, and Blake Ambrose; and five great-grandchildren, Tristan Geddy, and Katelyn, Kylee, Bryon and Kayla Willard.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Eyler and Mary Bare; and two brothers, George Hendrickson, and her twin brother, Elmer Hendrickson.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Tim May officiating.
Interment will follow in Clustered Spires Cemetery.
