Edward Moffett

Mr. Edward C. Moffett, 84, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital, He was the husband of the late Helen H. Moffett.
Born March 19, 1928 in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Dr. Daniel B. and Sylvia Moffett.
Mr. Moffett served his country in the U.S. Army. He was employed at Woodward and Lothrop, for 45 years, and retired as Vice President.
Edward was an avid golfer.
He is survived by a daughter Carol Vassalotti and husband Scott of Rockville, three grandchildren, a great granddaughter, and a brother Daniel Moffett. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Laurie Armbruster and a sister Anne Horan.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, October 28, from 2-5 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 29, at 1:00 p.m. from All Saints Episcopal Church, 106 W. Church Street, Frederick with The Rev. Thomas A. Momberg officiating..
