Donna Lynn Potter, 59, of Yarrowsburg, MD passed away on Friday August 14, 2015 surrounded by her husband and daughters.
Born on April 13,1956 in Ranson West Virginia. She was the daughter of Donald and Erma (Higgs) Norris. raised by her Stepfather Garland Potter whom she lovingly referred to as "Daddy"

Donna was a very loving and caring person who put everyone before herself. She was a very giving mother, wife, and all around wonderful woman.

She spent her entire life devoted to her husband Jerry who she met at age twelve, and then later to her five daughters.

She had many interest and passions. She loved animals, nature, and art. She was a very intelligent and talented woman. She spent her free time reading, doing puzzles, creating art, and cooking. Donna could literally take nothing and turn it into a feast that everyone would love. She also loved working outdoors in her flower beds and in the garden with her husband.

Donna is survived by her devoted husband Jerome A Potter her five loving daughters April Whorten and her husband Daniel of Boonsboro, Melanie Potter of Knoxville, Brandy Troccola and her husband Tom of Knoxville, Gerrie Potter of Knoxville , and Amy Moats and her husband Dennis of Greencastle, PA. She has nine grandchildren: Aaron, Christian, Nathen, Rylee, Ethan, Jeremy, Emily, Jason, and Collin. she is also survived by a sister Melody Mills of Brunswick and a brother Tay Tay Higgs of Boonsboro. Also by her closest family friend Debbie Barklow of Mt Airy.

Services for Donna will be private.
