Mr. Donald Lee Gaver, 84, of Boonsboro died Saturday, April 28, 2018 at his home. He was the loving husband of Shelby Gaver for 59 years.
Born October 26, 1933 in Clevelandtown, MD, he was the son of the late Claude Calvin and Emma Frances (Ford) Gaver.
Donald worked for many years as an appliance repairman. Additionally, he was a parts delivery driver for NAPA Auto Parts. He enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years.
Donald was a member of the Improved Order of Red Men, Logan Tribe 155, Boonsboro Chapter, and the Boonsboro American Legion Post 10.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, David Gaver of Herndon, VA, and Dale Gaver and wife, Sandy, of Boonsboro; two granddaughters, Sydney and Sara Gaver; sister-in-law, Linda Warrenfeltz; and many additional family members.
He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Gillian Gaver.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 3 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, with a service to begin at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Regina R. Beard.
Interment will follow in Boonsboro Cemetery.
