Deborah (Debbie) Gavin

Deborah F. Gavin (Debbie), passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at her Knoxville, MD home.
Born and raised in Rockville, Md. and graduate of 1972 class from Robert E. Peary. She was the daughter of the late Mary & Delma "Dutch" Birgfeld.
She is survived by her only daughter, Kelly Harmon and she has two beautiful granddaughters, Brooke and Leighann whom she adored. She is also survived by her long time boyfriend, Tim Barnhard; her two sisters, and brother-in-laws, Joanne & Charlie Barrett and Ann & Ron Droneburg, along with her two brothers, and sister-in-laws, Steve & Barb Birgfeld and Jim & Pam Birgfeld. There are also many nieces and nephews who admired her as the cool biker aunt!
Debbie loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren as much as possible. She loved her cats "the kids", rock n roll music and her favorite holiday- Halloween! She was always up for laughter and good company.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Sharpsburg Fire Hall, 110 West Chapline Street, Sharpsburg, MD 21782 from 2-4 p.m.
