Christopher Justin Kline, of Thurmont, MD, passed away on August 9, 2016 at the age of 29. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend.

Family was the most important thing to Christopher, and he loved having such a large, blended family. Seeing them together brought him joy, and he was always working to improve his bonds with his family and strengthen relationships between family members.

This love of family was especially reflected in his pride and joy: his sons. He would go to the ends of the earth and back just to make these boys smile, and worked hard to make a home for them. To quote Kamerin, he was "the bestest dad ever!"

Christopher touched many lives in his work developing and leading a narcotics anonymous group in Thurmont. He was willing to share his experience, strength, and hope to help addicts all around Frederick County, and to lessen the tragic effects of drug addiction in this area. Although his work was cut short, he can rest easy knowing that he was an inspiration and did make a difference, one life at a time.

Christopher knew the fragility of life. After losing his stepfather, he lived life to the fullest, and his beliefs in God guided him through his life.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Nicole Kline, his sons Kamerin Zion and Cameron James, his mother Cindy Conklin and Rick, his father Ed Kline and Colleen, his siblings Ashley Boeree-Kline, Kate Boeree-Kline, Jessica Legg, Jacob Legg and Alexa Spoonire, his grandmothers Mary Johnson and Sandy Notnagle, and grandfather Dale Kline, and many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, friends, and NA family.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather, Lewis Thomas Legg Jr., and his grandfather Harold Patrick Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 104 E. Main Street, Thurmont.

Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery.
