Bruce Brown

Mr. Bruce R. Brown, 63 of Frederick, Maryland passed from this life on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, MD.
Born November 16, 1953, in Frederick, MD he was the son of the late Luther P. Brown and Ruth Gladys (Orem) Brown.
Bruce was a graduate of Frederick High School in 1971. After graduating, Bruce started his career with the Frederick County School board where he retired in 1996. He enjoyed being with family, playing the guitar and listening to oldies but goodies. He was also an avid sports fan of the Washington Redskins, Baltimore Ravens, Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles.
He is survived by his twin brother, Brian P. Brown (special friend Yvonne Smith), sister Ruthann Whiting (Charles), sister Wanda Harvey (Charles), special friend Maria Henry and special uncle Kevin Brown “Abie” all of Frederick, MD. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, great-great nieces and nephew and a host of relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by one brother Luther L. Brown “Bimbo”, one sister Patricia L. Brown “Trish”, grandparents Luther O. Brown, Ida M. Brown and Fannie Orem-Carroll.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. A celebration of Bruce’s life will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Drew Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Frederick, MD.
The family would like to thank Dr. Singarat and staff of Med Star Georgetown University Hospital, Dr. Branislav Romanic of Nephrology and Internal Medicine of Frederick, the Emergency Room staff of Frederick Memorial Hospital, Hospice of Frederick County and all who sent their warm thoughts and prayers to our family.
