Betty Wells

Betty Louise Wells, 86, of Keedysville, MD went home to be with her Lord on Friday, Nov. 9, 2017.

Born Nov. 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary Lillian Harris Pearl.

In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 23 years, Henry Wells; her sister, Lillie Hope; and her three brothers, John, Glenn and Howard Pearl.

Betty is survived by her sons, James Cooper Wells, Sr. and wife, Luann B. Wells, of Keedysville Md and Henry William Wells and wife, Susan Wells, of Hagerstown MD. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; Willy, Henry, Jimmy, Betty Jean, Josh, Michelle, Beverly, Nicole and Chris; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Betty was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Dedicated to her family, Betty’s whole world was her family and she spent its entirety nurturing, loving and caring for all of them. Betty will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved her.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday Nov. 10, 2017 funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday Nov. 11th both will be held at United Christian Fellowship at 18823 Shepherdstown Pike, Keedysville, MD 21756. Interment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD.
